Finally a wine movie with some body.
Wine afficionados have “Sideways”…..beer drinkers have “Strange Brew” and “Beerfest”. Do you see the difference? Well now it looks like both groups have something they can watch together.
“Bottle Shock” stars Alan Rickman, Chris Pine, Freddy Rodriquez, Eliza Dushku, and Bill Pullman in a film based on true events relating to a historic wine tasting in Paris and the rise of Californian wines. And it looks funny. From watching the trailer, I would say this has a smoky aroma and a balanced finish.
